• Providing a platform for lawyers to register and maintain professional profiles.

WakilSearch is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal referrals. We are a technology platform that facilitates connections between users and legal professionals.

3. User Obligations

3.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our Website, including when submitting a query or registering as a lawyer. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of any information you provide.

3.2 Lawful Use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Website in any way that violates applicable Indian laws or regulations.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Website or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Website or servers.
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Website without our express written permission.

3.3 Client Obligations

As a client using our platform to connect with lawyers, you agree:

• To independently verify the credentials and suitability of any lawyer before engaging their services.
• To communicate respectfully and professionally with lawyers you are connected with.
• To not misuse the platform for spam, solicitation, or fraudulent purposes.

3.4 Lawyer Obligations

As a lawyer registering on WakilSearch, you agree:

• To provide accurate and up-to-date professional information, including your bar council enrollment number, practice areas, and contact details.
• To maintain the confidentiality and privacy of any client inquiries received through the platform.
• To comply with all applicable Bar Council of India rules and professional conduct standards.
• To respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Not to use the platform for any unlawful or unethical purpose.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• WakilSearch provides the Website and its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• WakilSearch does not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• WakilSearch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Website.
• WakilSearch is not responsible for any disputes, disagreements, or legal outcomes arising between users and lawyers listed on our directory.
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand only).

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code, and software ("Content"), is the property of WakilSearch or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written consent.
• Use any trademarks, service marks, or logos displayed on the Website without the prior written consent of the respective owner.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Content.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Website and its Content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising under these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in New Delhi, India, in English, by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement.

8. Termination

WakilSearch reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Website will immediately cease.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WakilSearch, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

10. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and WakilSearch regarding your use of the Website and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral.

11. Severability

12. Waiver
